Bernie established Coyne Research in January 2012, and has over 20 years’ experience in the research industry.
Prior to forming the company, Bernie was Managing Director of Amárach Research, Founder and Managing Director of Research Solutions, and a Director with Lansdowne Market Research. She began her research career with a London agency – Pegram Walters Associates, moving back to Ireland after 5 years’ experience.
A strong reputation for providing clients with actionable insights – not just research findings but direction. Areas of speciality include Financial Services, FMCG, New Proposition/Product Development, Brand Architecture & Strategy, and Advertising & Creative Testing.
Bernie is an NUIM graduate with a BA Honours Degree in Sociology, Geography and Maths, a Higher Diploma in Education (H.Dip.Ed),Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.(Dip.CIM). She became a Chartered Director in 2013 after completing the IOD Diploma in Company Direction Level 11 (CDIR).
Is an avid Guns ‘n Roses fan and travels to far flung destinations.
Deputy Managing Director
Lesley began her career in Research Solutions. She then went on to hold senior positions at Amárach Research and W5 before joining the Coyne Research team in 2013. Lesley is a dualist researcher handling both quantitative and qualitative research projects.
A strong background in FMCG, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Automotive and Retail. Brand & Advertising Tracking, Concept & Creative Testing, Pack Design Evaluation, Product Tests, Brand Deep Dives, Customer Satisfaction, Segmentation, and U&A studies.
Lesley has over 14 years of experience in the Market Research industry. She is a graduate of DIT with a BSc in Marketing and Management.
Lesley enjoys an eclectic taste of music and is an avid dog lover!
Director / Head of Data
Jason Joined the Coyne team after graduating in 2014 and has progressed up the ranks since then to become our Head Data Analyst and is also a Director at the company.
Jason is involved in a wide variety of job types such as Online Surveys, Product Tests, and CATI Scripting, and is involved in all of our quantitative research projects. Jason also loves to delve deeper into the data through different analysis techniques such as Max Diff, Regression, Segmentation and TURF Analysis.
Jason graduated from NUIG in 2014 with a B.Sc in Computer Science and Information Technology. He now has over 5 years experience in Data Analysis at Coyne and during this time has taken a course on GDPR.
Jason has a passion for all sports especially Gaelic Football and Soccer. He is a member of St.Brendans GAA team and his favourite teams are Mayo and Liverpool.
Shane joined Coyne Research at the beginning of 2018 and works as part of the Data Analysis team. Since then he has progressed to Associate Director.
Shane has gained extensive experience on quantitative projects since joining Coyne including; Brand & Advertising Tracking, Product Tests, Brand Deep Dives, Customer Satisfaction, and U&A studies.
Shane has also gained experience in online survey scripting whilst working on quantitative projects across a wide variety of sectors.
Shane graduated from Maynooth University in 2017 with a B.Sc in Applied Maths and Statistics.
Shane enjoys rugby and loves to travel.
Senior Research Executive
Cian joined the Coyne Research team in 2018 and has since progressed to Senior Research Executive.
Cian has worked across a variety of sectors in his time with Coyne Research including Financial Services, Retail, Government Bodies and FMCG.
He has experience in both qualitative and quantitative fields and has worked on Creative Testing, Brand Deep Dives, U&A studies and Brand & Advertising Tracking.
Cian graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA in English and History. He went on to complete an MA in International Studies also in UL.
Cian is an avid sports fan and enjoys travelling, reading and being from Cork!
